The Finnish Aviation Union IAU and the Trade Union Pro staged a demonstration with a walkout by Finnair technical staff on Thursday outside Finnair’s Annual General Meeting in Helsinki, Finland. The protest was aimed at drawing attention to the national airline’s upper-level management’s compensation system which makes it possible to make bonuses on personal perfomance cards which leads to making their department " As Lean as possible ". | | | Finnair says it does not believe that the demonstration had much of an impact, but the unions felt that the walkout was successfull. |
