Hi Guys,

Have a quick question for you guys. I have an Australian CASA licence, rated in the Electrical, Instrument and Radio Categories.

Could anyone tell me what would be required to get a FAA A&P licence? I have heard we are not eligable to hold this? Hopefully the U.S members could shed some light for me.

Thanks!

John

The best bet would be to contact your nearest FAA IFO
in Singapore - send them a detailed query email.. See details below.

As mentioned in replies to your post on Pprune, there may be difficulty in
justifying your need to hold it. Certainly not like CASA exams or our marvellous
EASA Part 66 system but good emphasis on practical examination & air leg.
At least that was for me in 2001...

Should you need further help, please send a PM.
Good luck & best wishes for 2010.

Regards
