AMFA
as the first American organisation to become an AEI affiliate not only significantly strengthens AEI and makes its voice even louder, but also strengthens the bond and unity of all individual affiliates striving for the same goal;..

Society of Aircraft Engineers of Pakistan (SAEP) comprising of about 1200 individuals as its members is the sole technical as well as welfare representative body of Aircraft Engineers of Pakistan. SAEP was established in 1956.
Presently the Aircraft Engineers in Pakistan have a conflict with their employer:
PIA (Pakistan International Airlines)

AEI Annual Congress 2007 will be hosted by ALAE
( Association of Licensed Aircraft Engineers) from September 20th to 23rd.

The Congress will take place at Holiday Inn Regents Park, London, England

Ladies and Gentlemen this is the Captain speaking - there will be a short delay !!

This "saga" from some years back shows that maybee it is a good idea to keep in mind the AEI Policy Statement PS001/1R.
Pre-Flight Inspection means the inspection required before flight to ensure that the aircraft is fit for the intended flight.
It must be carried out and signed for by a Licensed Aircraft Maitenance Engineer (LAME) and a Certificate of Release to Service must be issued in the Aircraft Technical Log!

The FAA is proposing changes to the ratings of aircraft technicians under Part 145 by all but eliminating the so-called "class" structure of ratings and replacing it with more comprehensive and encompassing general ratings. The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, which has been under construction for about five years, was published last week and appears to fundamentally restructure the qualifications standards for technicians to reflect modern aircraft construction.
