Ladies and Gentlemen this is the Captain speaking - there will be a short delay !!

This "saga" from some years back shows that maybee it is a good idea to keep in mind the AEI Policy Statement PS001/1R.
Pre-Flight Inspection means the inspection required before flight to ensure that the aircraft is fit for the intended flight.
It must be carried out and signed for by a Licensed Aircraft Maitenance Engineer (LAME) and a Certificate of Release to Service must be issued in the Aircraft Technical Log!

If you have airworthiness concerns that you have not been able to solve through your company reporting system, or that are too sensitive for such a system to use, you are invited to use AEI’s reporting form that can be downloaded here. To secure the highest degree of Confidentiality it is necessary to send the report by surface mail to the ATAC Chairman. The address can be found by selecting “About us”, and “Executive Board”, after which you scroll down to ATAC Chairman.
