RAM creates company for Aircraft Maintenance

Royal Air Maroc company (RAM) announced last week, the creation of a subsidiary called ‘Aerotechnic Industries' for aeroplane maintenance at Marrakech-Menara airport, reported MAP news agency. “Through the creation of this subsidiary company, RAM aims at creating an offer of maintenance services to shoulder the development of the air transport, especially in Marrakech airport as it is the first destination of tourism in Morocco,” underlined Mohammed Berrada, director of the Royal Air Maroc group. “This measure is a way for RAM to boost national tourism,” added Berrada in a communiqué. The new subsidiary company, which has cost MAD 70 million, will provide hundreds of job opportunities and allow RAM to start a new stage of its policy of developing aeroplane maintenance.
