Cinderella In the Flight Department.
By AEI Editor
Published: Nov 6, 2008
Dear Colleagues,
I recommend all Engineers and Mechanics to read this “still” valid article about us. (To the Non-Native English I would even advise to have it professionally translated and distributed amongst your colleagues) because of its importance. It was written before 1996 but today most of it is still happening as well. In this age of shortage of engineers and technicians it is our right or even stronger our duty to stand up and fight for at least equal to what other in our aviation community get. If our maintenance industry wants to attract more interest of young people entering it must be attractive and it’s not right now! I have advocated in our AEI board as well that we should be more outspoken because what we have to say has great value but we have to start believing it ourselves first.
