According the lawyer the specific check of Nose Gear Cables do not fall under the general Pre Flight Inspection. So far the Department of Justice has not taken a decision of continue the prosecution. If this is done further investigation of the latest person doing the check in the hanger is still possible. It became clear from the many questions and the thorough explanation by the lawyer that many colleagues do not always realize the seriousness of their work. We have to increase this knowledge to protect ourselves but also to further improve safety and not just “Sign off or Stamp off” documents put in front of you with the simple question of your manager or shift leader “please to finish the administration could you sign off this work someone else did” |  |
